Preparing My Work Wardrobe

School starts back up next week Thursday but this week I'm in causal clothing as we set up our new classroom.  Being that this is my second year as Teacher Assistant I know what to expect to a certain extent. But I mentally preparing myself when it comes to my wardrobe.  I want to be stylish yet professional for work. I've learned to dress for the job that you want and that's what I plan on doing this year.

I want to  share my Work Style Essentials:
1. Comfortable Work Pants
2. Fun Blouses
3. Flats
4.Sneakers
5. Jeans
6.Cardigans
7.Dresses
8.Skirts: Midi, Maxi and Pencil

When it comes to shopping for work clothing, I find my best pieces at these following stores:

1. TjMaxx- Pants, Jeans, Blouses
2. Marshalls-Pants, Jeans, Blouses
3.Lane Bryant-I find all my essentials here
4.Payless-Shoes
7.Ross-Tops, Dresses,Pants, Outerwear
8.JcPenney-All of my essentials except shoes

Before I went shopping for some new clothing I had to get rid of some junk. My sister came over last week to help me purge of things I didn't need. From them I created a list of items that I already had and pieces that I needed.

So now that my wardrobe is coming together, I  can go forward with creating outfits for two weeks ahead of time  for the school year.  I can also go shopping for more clothes that I NEED (LOL) for work.  If you're an educator and you're having trouble with your wardrobe  I'll be sharing a few outfit options for work through the month. Stay tuned for more!
